How Does High Country Roto-Rooter Breckenridge Repair Broken Pipes?

Before beginning a trenchless sewer repair we want to know exactly what’s going on in your pipe or sewer. So we insert into the pipe one of our cameras. That will tell us precisely what’s damaged and where it’s damaged. And from that information we’ll know how to fix it. If we decide a trenchless pipe repair will do the job then there’s one of two options available to us.

Why Use Trenchless Pipe Repair?

Traditional methods of pipe repair – ‘trenching’ – involve digging a trench along the length of the damaged pipe so that it can be reached and repaired. If that pipe runs under your backyard, under your parking lot or under your property – can you imagine the disruption this would cause? Not to mention the cost of restoring your backyard, parking lot or property afterwards… Trenchless pipe repair can make your sewer line replacement or repair a cheaper option overall. And it is invariably much quicker too.

How Does Trenchless Pipe Repair Work?

There are two ways of repairing your cracked or broken water pipe or sewer line:

  • cured-in-place pipe lining (CIPP)
  • pipe bursting

Cured-In-Place Pipe Lining inserts a flexible lining into the damaged pipe and then inflates it hard against the inside of the pipe. When the lining cures (which takes a couple of hours) you have a new, jointless pipe-within-a-pipe. Pipe bursting drags a new replacement pipe through the existing broken pipe. It fractures the existing broken pipe outwards and effectively replaces it. We’ll decide which method to use based on the results of our CCTV inspection.
